Beetlejuice Original Broadway Cast Recording CD Edition

Here's a CD of the Original Broadway Cast Recording of Beetlejuice. Warner Records releases it in partnership with the show.

Directed by two-time Tony Award nominee Alex Timbers, the musical comedy runs at Broadway's Winter Garden Theatre. Music and lyrics come from Eddie Perfect, with a book by Scott Brown and Emmy Award nominee Anthony King. Kris Kukul handled music supervision, orchestrations and incidental music, while Connor Gallagher supplied the choreography.

Tony Award nominee Alex Brightman stars as Beetlejuice himself. Sophia Anne Caruso appears as Lydia, Kerry Butler as Barbara, Rob McClure as Adam, Adam Dannheisser as Charles and Leslie Kritzer as Delia. Jill Abramovitz, Kelvin Moon Loh, Danny Rutigliano and Dana Steingold round out the principal players, and the full cast numbers 25, among them Tessa Alves, Gilbert L. Bailey II, Will Blum, Johnny Brantley III, Ryan Breslin, Natalie Charle Ellis, Brooke Engen, Abe Goldfarb, Eric Anthony Johnson, Elliott Mattox, Mateo Melendez, Sean Montgomery, Ramone Owens, Presley Ryan and Kim Sava.

The plot turns on Lydia Deetz, a strange and unusual teenager whose life changes once she meets a recently deceased couple and a striped demon named Beetlejuice. Asking him to frighten off anyone with a pulse brings chaos to the Netherworld, and a sandworm unlike any Broadway has seen before.

Producers of the album are Matt Stine, Alex Timbers, Eddie Perfect and Kurt Deutsch.
