Tango in the Night came out in 1987 and became the second-best selling record of Fleetwood Mac's career, moving more than 15 million copies worldwide. Britain put it at the top of the album charts. In America it peaked at #7 in, and Big Love and Little Lies turned into major hits just about everywhere.
The band had topped the U.S. charts in 1982 with Mirage, then waited five years before returning with this one. As it stands, Tango In The Night is the last studio album from the lineup of Lindsey Buckingham, Mick Fleetwood, Christine McVie, John McVie and Stevie Nicks.
