Life Is Killing Me finds Type O Negative mixing sludge-metal weight with oddball experiments and gothic imagery that's genuinely chilling in places.
That combination is the band's signature, and it's why their sound is so hard to pin on anyone else in metal.
Fans who already know the record will recognise the mood straight away. Newcomers should expect the weird turns as much as the riffs.
