Aantal:
Finding Wildflowers (Alternate Versions) gathers 16 studio recordings of alternate takes, long cuts and jam versions of Wildflowers songs, cut while Tom, his band and co-producer Rick Rubin worked to finish the album in 1994. This is the standard black 2LP edition.
Fans who picked up the limited-edition Super Deluxe 9-LP Wildflowers & All The Rest will recognize these tracks from that set. Now they stand on their own, on black vinyl, following the gold vinyl run made for TomPetty.com, indie retail and CD.
Curated with help from his family, bandmates and collaborators, the collection came together through producer and longtime engineer Ryan Ulyate, who went through 245 reels of 24-track tape to trace the group's evolutionary process — and to realize the full vision of the project as Tom had always intended.
