Christmas Party is the first holiday album The Monkees ever made, and it lands on October 12. The lead track, "Unwrap You At Christmas," is the one to queue up first.
Classic songs get new recordings here, among them "Silver Bells," "The Christmas Song" and "Wonderful Christmastime." Fresh originals came from Peter Buck and Scott McCaughey, Rivers Cuomo, Andy Partridge and producer Adam Schlesinger.
Vocals are new from Micky Dolenz, Michael Nesmith and Peter Tork. Davy Jones also turns up on two songs, his voice drawn from vintage recordings. Available on CD and digitally.
