In 1997, Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers played 20 nights at the Fillmore in San Francisco. Six of those shows were professionally recorded, and this box gathers many of the best moments from the residency.
Playing a room that small let the band shake up the set each night. They worked in re-arranged takes on their hits, deep cuts, and a stack of cover versions as a nod to the artists who shaped them.
The 6 LP deluxe edition holds 58 tracks, 35 of them covers, running over 4 hours of music.
