Van Halen's second album went 5x Platinum, and this pressing gives it a fresh cut. Chris Bellman handled the remaster at Bernie Grundman Mastering Studios, the same engineer behind the original albums' remastering work.
To get the sound the band aimed for, Bellman cut straight from the quarter-inch tapes rather than working from digital copies.
The result is the follow-up to the debut, pressed on ⟨K0⟩ gram vinyl.
