Sepultura's fifth full-length gets the reissue treatment here, and this edition tacks on four bonus tracks. It's a record caught between two eras: the raw aggression of Arise still drives the guitars, yet the simpler, groove-led arrangements that would define Roots are already taking shape.
Listen closely and you can hear the band pulling in two directions at once. That tension is exactly what makes Chaos A.D. worth revisiting on disc, and the extra tracks give longtime fans something beyond the original running order.
